Magdalene F. Jacobs passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Maggie was born on Oct. 29, 1927, in Aberdeen, South Dakota, to Joseph and Magdalene (Keller) Diebert. She lived in Aberdeen and Glad Valley, South Dakota, prior to moving with her family to Billings in 1937. She met the love of her life, Ronald L. 'Bill' Jacobs, married on June 18, 1947, and bore five children.
Maggie was the 'heart' of her family and her passion centered around her children, grandchildren and countless friends. Bill and Maggie’s door was always open to everyone!
Maggie is survived by four children; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; a sister; a sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband; one daughter; and two sons-in-law.
Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 14, and funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, March 15, at 3411 Third Ave. S., with rite of committal at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mary Queen of Peace, RiverStone Health Hospice or a charity of your choice.
