Mary passed away peacefully on April 8, 2011, at the Horizon Hospice Home in Billings, two weeks after celebrating her 80th birthday.
Mary leaves behind her husband, Kenneth, after 43 years of marriage; children Debra, Larry, Paulette, Terry, Vivian, Dan, Brenda, Linda and Ray; sisters Ruth, Doris and Zola, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Mary was born March 23, 1931, in Townsend, to Charles and Myrtle Ross. She spent her life in Townsend until moving to Billings in 1964, where she worked for Billings News. In 1971, the family moved to Judith Gap where Kenneth and Mary owned the Bar 100, and drove the school bus some days on wintry roads that should not have been driven on.
Mary's home was always open to family and friends day or night. She was a fabulous cook, enjoyed reading, but most of all family was the most important thing in life to her. She will be sorely missed.
The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Horizon Hospice Home for the compassionate care they extended to Mary during her short stay there.
Cremation has taken place. At Mary's request, no services will be held.
We love you, dear wife, mom, sister, grandma and friend. Thanks for the wonderful memories.
