Neil Robert Banderob, 75, passed away Nov. 8, 2010.
He was born Dec. 15, 1934, in Billings, the oldest of four children, the son of Frank C. and Marion L. (Fly) Banderob. He graduated from Billings Senior High in 1955.
Neil grew up and worked on the family ranch 25 miles east of Billings on Highway 87. After graduation, he continued working the family ranch.
In October 2003, Neil had a stroke. Due to complications, he has been a resident at Eagle Cliff Manor until his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Norman F. Banderob. Survivors include his brother, Joseph E. (Marcia) Banderob of Gallatin Gateway; sister Roberta L (Banderob) McFate of Billings; Martha Banderob, who was his significant partner for over 20 years; Martha's daughter, whom he adopted, Tina M. Banderob of Reno, Nev.; son Rowdy N. Banderob of the Billings area; and Rowdy's stepdaughter and two sons. Also surviving are nieces and nephews; as well as grandnieces and nephews.
Neil is at peace with himself now.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Smith Downtown Chapel is in charge of cremation.
