Patrick "Pat" Nave, 32, of Billings, lost his long and courageous battle with cancer on Feb. 14, 2011, surrounded by friends and family.

Pat was born on June 4, 1978, at St. Vincent Hospital. Pat attended Lockwood School, Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, and graduated from high school on March 5, 1996, in Brush, Colo.

Patrick loved the outdoors. He especially loved to hunt and fish with his close friends and family. He was an avid sports enthusiast; just ask Santos. His favorite sports teams were, and always will be, the Oakland Raiders and the Montana Grizzlies.

On March 27, 2010, he married the love of his life, Jennifer Miller. They were blessed with Pat's first biological son on Dec. 17, 2010.

Pat worked at St. Vincent Hospital, Circle Inn, Prairie Star, MT Sports, Walmart, Billings Construction Supply and Pilot Town Pump.

Pat is survived by his loving wife, Jen; children Tasia, Hailee, Keegan, Natalie, Lily and Kayden, all of Billings; his parents, Kathy and Steve Nave of Billings, David and Petra Davenport of Colorado Springs, Colo.; parents-in-laws, Lori and Troy Blake of Greenwood, Ark., Rob Miller and Leah Doherty of Billings; brothers Matthew (Katie) Nave and Byron Davenport, both of Billings, Kenneth (Heather) Davenport of Sequim, Texas, James (Rosalea) Davenport of Colorado Springs; brothers-in-law Jason Miller (Andrea Dahlquist) of Billings and Corey Flack of Greenwood; one sister, Tasha Nave of Billings; grandmothers Ninfa Cureton of Billings and Doris Davenport of Laurel; four nephews Brandon, Brayden and Cameron Nave of Billings, and Theryn Davenport of Colorado Springs; and one niece, Amber Davenport of Billings; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.

A special thanks to his Aunt Cindy, cousin Alicia, and brother and sister-in-law Jason and Andrea, for all of their support, and hugs. To Shawna Smith, James Fletcher Jr., and Pat's brother Matt for being extra special to him, and being by his side until the end.

Pat touched so many in his short time here, and will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Visitation will be on Saturday, Feb. 19, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Smith's West Chapel. Services will be held on Sunday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m., also at Smith's West Chapel. Interment will be at the Laurel Cemetery on Monday, Feb. 21, at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Pat Nave Memorial Fund" for his children, at Western Security Bank.
