Paul E. Kristensen, 75, passed away on Monday evening, peacefully in his home after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Fargo, N.D., and was the son of Kris and Mildred (Trumbo) Kristensen. He attended school in Huntley and spent his single years traveling the east coast and Cuba. He also used to love to hike, fish and camp. He returned to Billings in 1955 and was employed at the Billings Gazette as a printer for over 35 years. He retired in 1995.
He married Joyce O'Connor on Dec. 27, 1958. They had three children. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kris Jr., who died in WWII.
His pastimes included reading, gardening, bridge, golf, playing solitaire and watching sports on TV. Most of all, he loved his family. He was so proud of all of us. We love you, dad, and we'll miss you!
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Joyce; his daughters, Rhonda (Jerry) Taylor of Billings, Kristi of Seattle; his son, Kurt (Lisa) of Billings; and two grandchildren, Sheleen and Jade; and his special dog, Dusty.
