BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Paul Holte passed away on Feb. 17, 2011.
He was born in Livingston, Mont., on Dec. 9, 1960. Paul attended schools in Billings and Helena, Mont. He graduated from May Technical College in Billings with an AA degree as a Certified Electronics Technician. Paul moved to Bellingham, and worked at several businesses, repairing and trouble-shooting pinball machines, video games, installing security systems, TVs, laser disc systems, installing jukeboxes and pool tables, most recently working for Hart Novelties.
Paul's sense of humor and compassion made him loved by many.
Paul is survived by his mother, Marjorie Burkitt and stepdad Bill of Bellingham;his father Duane and stepmom Sarah Holte of Billings; one brother, Steven Holte, wife Paula, nephew Jacoby, nieces Ivanna and Betsy; aunts, uncles and cousins in Montana and North Dakota. Paul was preceded in death by his brother Mark.

Paul's mother taught him to work with stained glass and together they created stained glass windows for Faith Lutheran Church, Bellingham; Trinity Lutheran, Culbertson, Mont.; and windows for Burkitts' home. He was a man of many talents and, if you needed your oil changed or help in building a gazebo and deck, Paul was there to help. Paul enjoyed garage sales, sports, hunting and fishing, golf, bowling, motorcycling and "hydroponic" gardening.
