Raymond Richard Hunt was born July 31, 1952, son of Jean and Buck Hunt, brother to Max, Sharon and Sandy. Ray passed away over Labor Day weekend, 2012, in his home in Billings. At age 60, Ray was retired from the United States Air Force and Valley Welders in Billings. A strong and proud man, Ray spent most of his final days tinkering in his garage. He loved his 77 Shovel Head and his Screaming Eagle Harley Davidson and waited for the perfect days to go ride. When he was not riding, he was polishing his 1953 Chevy five-window truck named "White Angel." Ray was very proud of what his three sons had made of their lives. His oldest twins Daniel and Terry Hunt and youngest Jesse Hunt kept him on his toes. While Terry was taken from him at a young age, he still left Ray with exceptional memories. Daniel and Jesse opened Ray's eyes to the wonderful world of being a grandfather. Ray loved every moment of hearing about his four grandkids, Dustin, Sophia, Karson and Pierson Hunt. We will forever miss his tenacious sense of humor, wonderful laugh and stern kind words. We love you, Ray, and you will be missed very much.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Smith’s Downtown Chapel, 925 S. 27th St.
