Bob grew up farming along side his dad when he was a young boy and came back to the family farm eventually purchasing it from his dad, who had homesteaded the ranch in 1910. His love of agriculture and farming spanned his whole life.
Bob was a devoted husband and father. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, taking his grandchildren out to the ranch to shoot gophers, roast hot dogs and make smores on the campfire, sledding, and ride four wheelers. He cherished his grandchildren, supporting them in all their endeavors whether it was in a gym or a field, he was always the number one fan. He also loved fishing trips with the family. When he wasn’t with his family, he was always busy with friends playing cards or going to dances.
