Robert "Bob" Siler was born in Billings on Jan. 24, 1958, to Robert and Louise (Kopp) Siler. He passed away at his home at Prairie Towers, where he had lived for a short time.
Bob lost his mother very early in life. He spent his years growing up between Montana and California. He returned to Billings when his dad became ill. After his dad passed away, he decided to stay in Billings.
Bob's passion in life was his cooking. He was always happy to help out at a family barbecue or even to cater the funeral for one of his favorite aunts. He worked hard all his life until an accident in 2009 left him unable to work. He was always hoping he could someday return to work. He missed all the friends he had made working at Stella's. He would occasionally stop in to see them.
Bob will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind: sisters Karen, Kathy, Tina; brother Kelvin; and many nieces and nephews; as well as cousins Donna, Fenie, Linda, Mingo and Sammy. He also leaves behind his special friend, Sharon. We love you, Bob.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Wednesday, April 6, at 2:30 p.m., in the dining room at Prairie Towers, 725 N. 25th St.
