Robert (Bob) P. Wegleitner of Huntley passed away on Dec. 27, 2018, at Swedish Medical Center in Denver.
Bob was born on Nov. 22, 1942, in Williston, North Dakota, to Paul and Betty Wegleitner. He grew up in Epping, North Dakota, and worked with his father in the construction business. After graduating from high school he attended trade school in Wahpeton, North Dakota, and later worked in California and Washington as an auto mechanic. He served in the North Dakota National Guard from 1961 to 1966.
He married Sharon Roemeling on July 17, 1970. They lived in Williston where he owned and operated Wegleitner Construction, before moving to Huntley in 2005.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Paul; mother, Betty; and siblings Margaret, Joseph, Wanda and Debra Ike.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sharon; his daughters Heidi Bibler (Raul A. Sanchez) of Billing and Kari Philp (Brian) of Belgrade; two grandchildren, Ty Chandler and Josie Philp; brothers Paul (Nicky), LaVerne (Fonda), John (Kathy); and sisters Betty Rogers (Dan), Kathleen Gartner (Leonard), Mary Nygard (Mark), Donna Kubisiak (Leo), Lorraine Wegleitner, Karen Heller (Rod) and Carol Bruce (Keith).
We will always be thankful for the Christmas that we had with him. He will always be our "Yahtzee King."
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on 1 p.m. Friday the 18th, at Smith Funeral Chapel at 925 South 27th Street in Billings.
