Robert James McArthur entered the world on July 2, 1963, much to the joy of his family, Terry McArthur and Teresa Collins. He left us much too soon, tragically, on March 18, 2014.
Rob loved the outdoors, hiking, fishing, rafting, motorcycling, four-wheeling and tramping the mountains he loved so much. He received his high school diploma from Absarokee High School and his education in electrical studies from Salt Lake Community College. Like his grandfather, Sidney McArthur, Rob had a great affinity for all things electrical and mechanical. Whenever someone was in need, he was there, cheerfully offering his help. Rob was a strong and independent man, achieving success on his own through honest, hard work and determination.
Rob leaves in mourning his father, Terry McArthur and his partner Wayne Hysjulien of Billings; his mother, Teresa Collins McArthur of East Carbon, Utah; brothers Michael and Tim; sister Margaret; two special children, Kai Jr. and Cynthia, children of Kai and Jessica Christianson; and the one he loved dearly, Julie Bohm. Rob was loved by numerous aunts, uncles and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sidney and Margaret McArthur; and his maternal grandparents, Warren and Betty Collins.

A private family memorial is planned.
Memorials in his name may be made to charities of choice, and the family asks those who knew Rob well to lift a cold one in his name.
