Sharon Ann Peterson Paris died June 2, 2014, at Billings Clinic.
She was born Jan. 21, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Eugene Allen Peterson and Arvilla Cundick.
On Feb. 28, 1963, she married Charles William Paris at Manti, Utah. They lived in Salt Lake City until moving to Billings in 1968, where she lived the remainder of her life.
Sharon was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a talented homemaker, possessing many self-taught skills and enjoyed birding and her flower garden. She encouraged and supported her children in their many activities. She was especially proud of her grandchildren. She was concerned about others and served in numerous callings in her church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Laura. She is survived by her husband and eight children, Michelle (Terry) and Daniel (Angie) of Billings, David (Amy) of Troutdale, Ore., Brian (Lorenia) of Tempe, Ariz., Keith of Dayton, Wyo., Susan (Pavel) of Marietta, Ga., Thomas (Lori) of Casper, Wyo., and Emily (Charlie) of Bozeman. She is survived by 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Monica, Keven, Angell, Adriane, Porter, Lindsay, Sam, Joe, Andrew, Chloe, Kyriell, Marcel, Riley, Coulter, Reagan, Ellie and Sofie.
My dear wife, our loving mother, our grandmother: a light in our lives has gone out until we meet again.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 2929 Belvedere Drive, Billings. Interment will follow the services at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Bozeman Symphony Orchestra or charity of choice.
