Sharon (Shari) Joann Armitage, 80, of Laurel, joined the Lord on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019.
Shari was born on Sept. 12, 1938, to Harry and Myrtle (Hagen) Brown. She graduated from Havre High School, and went on to get her cosmetology license.
She married Doug, and they shared 55 years of love. They had four children.
She was actively involved within the church community, including Dorcas, Christian Women's Club and the church choir. Shari was an avid crafter. It brought much joy to her to create original pieces for others.
Proceeded in death by her parents, brother Richard (Dick) Brown, niece Debbie Brown, husband, Doug Armitage.
Survived by Harriett (Harry) Brown; Jim (Betty) Brown; her four children, David (Ruby), Greg (Jamie), Michael (Sherri) and Jami (Kevin) Flack; two nieces; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Service to be held Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, 11 a.m., at First Congregational Church, 506 S 5th St, Laurel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
