Shirley Ann Adams, 78, passed away at her home Nov. 8 2017. She was born to Grace and John Foos in Sept. 1, 1939, in Silesia, Montana.
She grew up on the south side of Laurel, and graduated Laurel High School in 1957. Shirley met her husband, Lee, when she was a junior in high school and married him Nov. 22 1958. Shirley and Lee welcomed three sons and a daughter over the years and in 1976, when her youngest went off to school she became the Park City School clerk where she remained for 25 years.
Anyone who knew Shirley would tell you she was tough as nails and her whole life was lived for her children and grandchildren. She had a great sense of humor and grandma could have taught a Las Vegas cheat a few things based on how she cheated us at cards. She was always right (according to her) and usually ways. She will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents Grace and John brothers John Jr., Wallace, Frank aka Sonny and sister Mary Alice. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Lee, her son Wade (Kris) Krystal, Stephen, son John (Lisa) Jacob, Nate, son Dean (Peggy) Nick, Lilly, daughter Leah Ann Seabrook (Scott) Jerrica, Joshua.
Our doors will be open at their home in Park City on Nov. 23, 2-6 p.m., to share memories of mom. In lieu of flowers donate to Autism Speaks or charity of your choice.
