WORDEN - On Friday, the 26th of April, Stan Yurian passed away in his sleep while taking his last nap while visiting his son Mark at Gold Creek, Mont.

He was born July 31, 1933 in Laurel, to Nick and Molly Yur-ian. Stan graduated from Hunt-ley Project High School in l952. He married Bar-bara Ann Blazer in December, 1953. In 1963, Stan married Barbara Lea (Clark) West. Together they put their special gifts from heaven together to make their family of Dennis, Valerie, Kim, Julie and Mark, who joined them about two years later. Stan and Barbara made their home in Worden where they farmed, raising sugar beets, corn and cattle until 1989. At that time they changed to hay and sheep because of Stan's health - he suffered a stroke and had heart problems. The past year his two grandsons, Chris and Chad, took over much of the farm work with Grandpa straw-bossing the work.

Stan was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Worden. His favorite pastime was hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved company and get-togethers. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Molly Yurian; three brothers, Harvey, Nicky and Leonard.

Stan is survived by his wife Barbara Lea; his mother of choice Bobbi Clark; two sons, Dennis (Agnes) and Mark Yurian; three daughters, Valerie (Tim) Grammens, Kim Reichert and Julie (Mike) Clifton.

Eleven dividends of his life are his grandchildren, Chris, Robert B., Michelle, Nicole, Jordan, Chad, Cory, Robert, Trisha, Ericka and Jake; one sister, Sharon (Ray) Kramer and numerous extended family as well as uncles, aunts and cousins.

Stanley, the time has come that we have to travel a different road, but with all the memories we built together, you will live on forever in my mind and heart. I thank God that now there will be no more pain or sickness for you. This is the good bye. I never got to tell you, "I will Love you forever," Barbara.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday at Smith. West Chapel, 304 34th St. West. Visitation will begin at Smith West Chapel at 3 p.m. Monday. Interment will be at the Huntley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Worden or the Worden Fire Dept., Worden, MT 59088.
