Our beloved Tami fell fast asleep in the arms of the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at Billings Clinic Hospital due to respiratory complications.
Tami was born in Townsend on Jan. 9, 1958, to Lavada and Dale Fallang. She attended schools in Billings along with various schools in Arizona and New Mexico. She graduated from Gila Bend, Ariz., in 1976 as the valedictorian of her class. Following high school she worked in Decker as an apprentice pipe fitter before moving on to Colstrip where she worked on power plants one and two. She became a journeyman pipe fitter during the completion of power plants three and four. Tami finished her career in Billings working for several local refineries.
Tami enjoyed animals. Her two dogs meant the world to her. She left Itty Bitty behind to watch over her family, and Tika was there at the gate when she left this world.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents K.O. (Alice) Fallang and Jack (Rosamond) Phillips; father Dale (Irene) Fallang; and uncle Don (Joanne) Fallang.
She is survived by son Austin Colt Fallang of the family home; husband Richard Campos; mother Lavada of Billings; sisters Vicki (Joey) of Albuquerque, N.M., and Kristi Bauer of Billings; brothers Mitch Fallang and Todd (Kelly) Fallang, both of Huntley; special nieces and nephews Samantha Silvia, Jessica Fallang, Andreana Martinez, Linzi Martinez, Alexus Fallang, Gavin Lennan and Brandon Fallang. She is also survived by her uncle Bob (Shelly) Fallang of Bozeman, and several cousins.
The family of Tami would like to thank all of the staff members who provided her care the past several weeks at Billings Clinic Hospital. Thank you for the care and kindness that was given to her and shared with our family.
Cremation has taken place. To honor her wishes, there will be a private family gathering at a later date.
Even though you have left this earth, you will be forever in your hearts and loved for who you were.
Arrangements are by Cremation & Funeral Gallery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.cfgbillings.com through “Our Families.”
