Teresa was in born Feb. 23, 1962, to Karl and Lillian Fischer during a snowy winter in Anaconda, Montana. She passed away in her sleep at home on Friday, Oct. 6.
She is survived by a sister, Gloria Boyd of Billings, her two nephews Austin and Marcus Boyd, two brothers, Jerome (Jerry) and his wife Lynn of Edinburg, Texas, and Ron Fischer of Minot, North Dakota. She graduated from Anaconda High School in 1980.
After some adventures outside of Montana, she moved to Billings in 1980, living first on the Heights, but settling in the West End of Billings. She can be remembered for working at a beauty shop, at the Sandwich Shoppe in the Rimrock Mall, as a cook for the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, and lastly working many, many years at the First Interstate Bank.
She had a life-long love of orange tabby cats, her first ones named Mambrino, then Savant, her favorite Simon, Sabrina, and her last pride of Steve, Stan, and Seth. Like her dad, she loved to tease and the tell-tale sign of her teasing included her mischievous look and gleeful laugh. She had her mom’s loyalty and friendly charm. Friends from the Suds Hut and family will miss the delight of her company and the sparkle of her laugh.
Memorial will be at held 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Cremation and Funeral Gallery.
Arrangements are by Cremation & Funeral Gallery. Condolences can be sent through www.cfgbillings.com through “Our Families.”
