ABSAROKEE — Terri Kathryn Ferster, 73, of Absarokee, passed away Thursday, Oct. 24, at her home, peacefully in her sleep after a courageous battle with cancer.

Terri was born Aug. 15, 1946, to Bill and Marge Colgrove of Columbus. She grew up in Columbus with her three younger brothers, Bill, Steve and Mike. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1964.

She met and married Pete E. Ferster and they had three children, Richard, Jeri and Mark. Terri was all about family. She gave selflessly to her children and grandchildren. She never forgot a holiday or birthday. She was always there when they needed her.

She was deeply involved in her community and made many lifelong friends. She never met a stranger. She was a member of the Vocational Advisory Council and was an election judge. She was on the board of directors of the Absarokee Senior Center. Terri was also involved in the Red Hat Society, Birthday Group, and enjoyed playing bridge with her friends. She loved school functions and always volunteered where she could.
