William “Bill” George Nickisch passed away on March 24, 2014.
Bill was born in Butte, the second son of Mary Margaret and Frederick Nickisch. He is survived by his mother; his wife of 37 years, Margaret L. Nickisch; and their two sons, Brandon and wife Michele, their children Timothy, Jacky, Isaiah, Stephen and Triston, and Anthony and wife Shara and their son Zachary. His surviving eight siblings include John Nickisch (Brenda), Mary Marceau (Francis), Joe Nickisch (Lisa Forsberg), Terry Nickisch (Yvette), Susan Hannah (Richard), Kathy Giesick (Scott), Dan Nickisch (Christie) and Steve Nickisch (Kristi). Numerous nieces and nephews were happy to call him Uncle Bill.
Bill was preceded in death by his father and his mother- and father-in-law, Flossie and Samuel Watson.

Bill graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 1968. He was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force having served from 1969 until 1973. Bill lived in Forsyth; he and Maggie traveled the United States to new job sites. They relocated to a new home in Lockwood in recent years. He retired from the pipefitters Local Union No. 30 in Billings after 35 years.
Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He loved traveling with his wife to see his sons and grandchildren. Watching NASCAR was an enjoyment, along with football. Being a Seahawks fan, he got to see his team win the Super Bowl this year!
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at Harvest Church in Lockwood at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29. A reception will follow.
