Zackery George Brewington passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2008, after spending time visiting family and friends. He was born Jan. 19, 1989 in Lewistown to Tammy and Ronnie Brewington of Garneill. He graduated from Judith Gap High School in 2007, and was most recently working with his father at Century Construction Company on the UG Crew.
Zack had a way of lighting up a room with a smile. He always brought a laugh or a smile to others and befriended anyone who needed a companion. He was willing to help in any way he could, and was loved by all. During his short life he touched so many people, young and old.
He was an avid outdoorsman who spent hours trying to sneak up on the largest deer or elk, target practicing with his bow and arrow, walking up and down Spring Creek to fish, or just shooting hoops to practice for the next big game. He was also active in FFA, 4-H, and AMX racing.
Zack was especially close to his three sisters, and was a wonderful big brother to all. He was a best friend to his parents, and was a blessing to his grandparents and family. Rest in peace Z-man. We will all miss you dearly and will think of you often. We know that you have joined loved ones like Great Grandpa George, and are sharing many great times telling tall tales.
He had so many friends and family that are too numerous to mention, yet he is survived by the following immediate family: parents Ronnie and Tammy Brewington; sisters Dezarae, Taylor, and Shy-Anne Brewington; grandparents Gary and Susan Brewington, Noel and Sam (LaFountain) Zuehlsdorff, and Harold and Marge Matovich; aunts and uncles Brad and Kelly Brewington (Trey and Grace), Harold and Charlotte Eike (Dusty and Amanda), Chris Joseph and Joey Stovall (Rilie, Payton and Bradlie), Mike and Monica (Brewington) McConnell; Ken and Dianna Fifield (Kenny, Theresa, Tammy, Dale, and John Robert), Billy and Lianna Lyle (Chealsea, Quinn, Evan, and Chalise), Michelle Williams (Holly, Corey, and Collin), Theresa Stone and Dale (Nina and Michael), and Ron and Randie Sims (Chase and Ronny).
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents George and Pete (Esther) Brewington, Robert and Dorothy Taylor, Bette Matovich, and Albert and Martha LaFountain.
Memorial services will be held at the Judith Gap gymnasium at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 3. Lunch will immediately follow at the Methodist Church.
The spreading of ashes will be done at a later date by the immediate family. Friends are asked to make memorials to a memorial account to help further the education of his three loving sisters (Fergus County Federal Credit Union in Lewistown, Mont.).
Arrangements are in the care of Dahl Funeral Chapel, Billings. Memories and condolences may be made to www.dahlfuneralchapel.com.
