Today Trinity Lutheran Church, 537 Grand Ave.: The workday begins at 8:30 a.m. Bring ladders, saws, leaf blower, edger, cleaning supplies, etc. Call Karen Oset at 652-3191.

St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral, 215 N. 31st St.: The high school youth will be hosting a salad and pizza buffet fundraiser after the 5 p.m. Mass. Proceeds will go towards their trip to the National Catholic Youth Conference in November.

Sunday Trinity Baptist Church, 1145 Nutter Blvd.: Everyone is welcome to hear Ruth and Carl Engstrom present a concert of traditional hymns and gospel songs and share testimonies during the 10:45 a.m. service. Sunday School is at 9:45 a.m.

Hope United Methodist Church, 244 Wicks Lane: Graduate Recognition Sunday for High School and University Students will be held at the 10:30 a.m. service. A reception will follow.

King of Glory Lutheran Church, 4125 Grand Ave.: The 9:30 a.m. Service of Worship with Holy Communion is Senior Recognition day for all of our graduating seniors.

Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1108 24th St. W.: An 11:15 a.m. Congregational Town Meeting follows worship.

First Presbyterian Church, 13th Street West and Poly Drive: The first in a three-week class on participating in a mission trip experience will be at 9 a.m. Kerry Gruizenga leads. Additional classes will be June 8 or June 15. If you are interested, but cannot attend, call Kerry at 252-3434 or Carol Springer at 656-3168.

First Christian Church, 522 N. 29th St.: The summer schedule for morning worship begins today with church at 10 a.m. and fellowship at 11 a.m. All Sunday School classes will disband for the summer.

First United Methodist Church, 2800 Fourth Ave. N.: Sunday School teachers are honored for their dedication at a Teacher Appreciation Brunch at 8:45 a.m. The First UMC Youth lead worship and honor high school and college graduates. A reception for graduates and families follows in the Wesley Youth Center.

First Congregational United Church of Christ, 310 N. 27th St.: Teacher appreciation and graduate recognition will be celebrated with an appreciation breakfast between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. There will be only one service of worship at 11 a.m. An indoor picnic lunch will follow to celebrate the conclusion of the "Faith Builds" campaign.

Central Christian Church, 1221 16th St. W.: Summer hours begin with morning worship at 10 a.m. The Church Youth Group for grades three through eight meet in the fellowship hall at 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Bring a sack lunch.

Tuesday

Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1108 24th St. W.: The Circle of Prayer meets at 8:15 a.m. in the Sanctuary. The "Piece-Makers" quilters meet from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.

Wednesday First English Lutheran Church, 1243 N. 31st St.: The Worship & Music Committee meets at 6 p.m. The FELC Foundation meeting is at 7 p.m.

Thursday Trinity Lutheran Church, 537 Grand Ave.: The Spring musical will be held at the school, 2802 Belvedere Drive.

Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1108 24th St. W.: Bible Study in A-Frame is at 10 a.m.

Central Christian Church, 1221 16th St. W.: The Men's Breakfast will meet at 7 a.m. at the downtown Denny's. Monica Lindeen, state legislator from Shepherd, is the guest speaker.

Friday Trinity Lutheran Church, 537 Grand Ave.: Trinity Graduation will be at 7 p.m.

Saturday Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 3200 Broadwater Ave.: Pastor Isaias Hernandez is the guest speaker at 7:30 p.m. June 7.He will lead a Bible study that will be conducted in Spanish. There are also activities for children.

First English Lutheran Church, 1243 N. 31st St.: The Men's Group fishing trip will be held today.

The Men's Group will meet at

5 a.m. for a biscuits and gravy breakfast and will leave for the Tongue River Reservoir at 6 a.m. Call 245-4933 for more information or to register.
