ORLANDO, Fla. -- Dayle Hayes, MS, RD, president of Nutrition for the Future Inc. in Billings, has received the Silver Friend of Child Nutrition Award at the 23rd annual Foodservice Achievement Management Excellence Awards.

The awards, sponsored by Basic American Foods, Schwan's Food Service Inc. and Tyson Foods Inc., honored seven professionals Jan. 15 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in ChampionsGate, Fla. during the School Nutrition Association Child Nutrition Industry Conference.

Hayes writes a regular column in The Billings Gazette Health section.
