BraveHearts, a grief support group for children and teens sponsored by RiverStone Health hospice services, is beginning a program session on Feb. 15. Support group sessions will be held Tuesdays for eight sessions from 6-7:30 p.m. BraveHearts meetings will take place at the RiverStone Health site on the Lockwood school campus. The children and teen grief support group is open to any child 6-17 years of age who has suffered a loss. During the sessions, children are engaged in activities that assist them in expressing their thoughts and feelings. Teens meet in appropriate age categorized groups. All groups are led by bereavement professionals.
While there is no cost to participate in the group, registration is required before the group sessions begin. For more information and to register, call RiverStone Health at 651-6500.
