Yellowstone Dermatology to host free 'Freaky Mole Friday' skin cancer screening

Dr. Roberta Hawk, board-certified dermatologist, and Matt Furber, physician assistant, will be hosting a free skin cancer screening for the public on June 13 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Yellowstone Medical Center across from St. Vincent Healthcare's Emergency Room at 2900 12th Ave. N., Suite 240 W.).

“Current estimates are that one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime,” Hawk said. “That's why raising awareness of skin cancer in our community through this event is so important. Response to last year's screening was so positive, we are pleased we can do this again.”

A skin cancer screening is a visual, non-invasive exam that only takes a few minutes, yet could save a person's life.

Screening is by appointment only. Appointments are available by calling 406-238-6116.
