DooDoo, a miniature pinscher, is the pet of the week.

DooDoo is a 1-1/2- to 3-year-old male miniature pinscher available for adoption through the Yellowstone County Humane Society.

A small black-and-tan dog, he has not been neutered. He has had distemper and parvo shots but still needs his rabies shot.

DooDoo was found alongside the highway, almost starved to death. He's getting a little fatter but needs a home of his own. He enjoys chasing a flying disc and loves little girls but can be temperamental. He needs a fenced yard.

To adopt DooDoo for a $50 fee, contact the Humane Society at its mailing address, 4902 Helfrick Road in Billings, or 259-6198. The hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Other animals, including a Chinese crested, Pomeranian, ferrets and a rabbit, are awaiting homes at the shelter. The organization hosts an adoptathon from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Tractor Supply Co. in the Heights.

The shelter needs old blankets and dog and cat food.
