Sasha is a small, black and tan, 5-year-old, spayed female pug-Chihuahua awaiting adoption at Help for Homeless Pets. Sasha has come a long way since her rescue. She is quiet and well-mannered, good with other friendly dogs, and makes a fine friend and companion. Sasha loves going for walks. She would do best with adults or a family with older children. Her vaccinations are current.
Many puppies and dogs, including a large variety of smaller dogs, and kittens and cats are also waiting for homes. The shelter is offering special pricing on cat adoption. Cost is $50 each for cats 6 months to 2 years old. Ages 2 to 7 cost $30 each. Any cat older than 7 years costs $20. All cats are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
To adopt Sasha for $100, contact Help for Homeless Pets at 2910 Hannon Road, or call 896-1700. Hours are 1 to 6 p.m. daily.
The shelter needs donations of blankets, towels, cat litter, dog and cat treats, and new and used dog collars and leashes.
