Magic City Fly Fishers will meet Tuesday

Billings' Magic City Fly Fishers will kick off its fall meetings Tuesday at the Billings Rod and Gun Club.

A $2 welcome back cookout starts at 6 p.m. followed at 7 by fly casting lessons, including beginners, and a fly-tying seminar. The evening's program features a panel of regional experts who discuss fishing on four of Billing's most well-known waters: the Big Horn, Yellowstone, Stillwater and Rock Creek.

Dave Duffy, the regional Federation of Fly Fishers representative, plans to make a special presentation of the McKenzie Cup, to President Chris Fleck. The McKenzie Cup is awarded to the FFF chapter that best represents the ideals of the federation.
