Clarks Fork Canyon

The Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River flows through this rugged canyon as it exits the Beartooth Mountains near Clark, Wyo. The Morrison Jeep Trail travels up the canyon and switchbacks to the top of the Beartooth Plateau.

The Morrison Jeep Trail was reopened on Saturday, Aug. 12.

The Shoshone National Forest reopened all of Forest Service Road, FSR, 119 and FSR 120 on the Clarks Fork Ranger District northwest of Cody, Wyoming. The road, known locally as the Morrison Jeep Trail, was closed in order to remove debris.

To obtain current road/trail information or to report road/trail damage, contact the Clarks Fork, Greybull or Wapiti ranger district offices at 307-527-6921.
