Rope rescue

Members of the Billings Fire Department’s rope rescue team carry a woman up a steep cliff Monday evening. She fell about 50 feet down the slope near the bike path near the 900 block of Yellowstone River Road above Two Moon Park.

Rescue workers pulled a woman from Two Moon Park on Monday evening after receiving calls that someone had fallen from the bike path above the park.

Billings Fire Battalion Chief Terry Larson said crews were there shortly after 6 p.m. to make the rescue.

"Her and her friend were walking, and that's all we know," he said.

The woman was taken to Billings Clinic. Investigators are still working to determine just what happened.
