A man accused of punching and kicking his girlfriend and dragging her by the throat through their Cook Avenue home on Friday had his bond set at $25,000 in justice court on Monday.
Travis Bridger Soderberg, 38, of Billings, was arrested Saturday morning and charged with felony aggravated assault. The victim spoke with Billings Police officers at City Hall, where she filed her complaint at 9:28 a.m.
She told officers that she and Soderberg were arguing in their living room and that the argument turned physical. She alleges Soderberg grabbed her by the throat, threw her to the floor, punched her in the head and then kicked her repeatedly, according to court documents.
At some point, the victim was able to leave the house and call police. After meeting with officers, she was admitted to an area hospital, court documents state.
Soderberg was arrested near the Cook Avenue home. He told the officers he remembered nothing from the time the victim entered the living room at their home to the time he was picked up by police, court records state.
