A man has been charged, and a sex trafficking victim rescued, after an investigation into an ad for sex in the Billings area placed online.
Steven Cory Unger, 29, pleaded not guilty Thursday in Yellowstone County District Court to a single count of prostitution, a felony.
Unger responded to an ad in a prostitution sting conducted by the Montana Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigation at a Billings hotel in November, according to charges.
Unger was sentenced April 3 to five years with the Department of Corrections, partially suspended, for violating probation on a sexual abuse of children conviction from October 2014.
While out on bond on the 2014 case, Unger was caught in February 2015 in a prostitution sting in Bismarck, North Dakota.
