The 18th annual Youth Fishing Jamboree will be held Saturday from 9:30 a.m to 1 p.m. at Riverfront Park's Lake Josephine.
Youngsters ages 5 to 14 are encouraged to register at the YMCA at no charge. Registration forms are also available at Scheels All Sports and the City Parks and Recreation Dept.
The jamboree will be limited to the first 150 to register. A parent, grandparent or guardian must accompany each youth fisherman.
The jamboree will provide fishing safety and instruction from Mark Henckel, Billings Gazette Outdoor editor, assisted by volunteers from Walleyes Unlimited and the Magic City Fly Fishers. Youth ages 12-14 must have a conservation license to fish.
Sponsors include Scheels, Billing Kiwanis Club, Coca Cola, Pryor Creek Bait Co. and the City Parks and Recreation Dept.
