Singer, songwriter and actor Justin Stein has been traveling the Midwest as the opening act for Corbin Bleu this summer and will take the Rimrock Auto Arena stage at MetraPark today at 2 p.m.
Stein also is a dancer and composer and has been chronicling the pair's summer tour on his MySpace site, www.myspace.com/justinsteinmusic.
A native of Chicago, Stein gave his first solo performance when he was 5.
He has drawn fans and industry interest with up-tempo tunes such as "Lose Control, "Don't Be Playin' with My Heart" and his latest, "Leave It On the Floor." His music style blends R&B, pop and rock.

Stein has appeared on stage with Tony Award winner Patti LuPone in "Gypsy" an also played Dickon in "The Secret Garden," among other roles. He sang on Rosie O'Donnell's TV talk show when he was 10.
He also appeared in a production of the King Arthur story of "Camelot" at Lincoln Center, a production that was televised as a PBS special.
