Each week, The Billings Gazette's Tempo page asks area teens for their thoughts on a particular topic.
This week's question posed to Skyview High students is: The teenage daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is pregnant. What does 17-year-old Bristol Palin's pregnancy teach teens and adults?
What I think about teenagers getting pregnant is that it should teach adults about being responsible and teenagers having twice the responsibility because they're still in school.
This question, I don't really know how to answer it. I just say parents can kind of leave us alone if we're pregnant.
If the teenage girl is pregnant, just kind of leave her alone - she made the decision to do it.
My view on this whole Bristol Palin's pregnancy thing is it proves to teens, or adults, that just because your mom or dad is famous doesn't mean that you don't mess up, that they don't mess up as well and everybody makes mistakes.
My views on the Bristol Palin pregnancy is that everybody makes mistakes and that you just have to live with it. You can't just make things go away because you're famous.
