The cause of the fire Monday that resulted in major damage to the Okerman apartment building remains undetermined, Deputy Fire Marshal Jeff McCullough said Thursday.
The early morning blaze at 23 Yellowstone Ave., caused an estimated $1 million damage to the 11-apartment complex. Nine of the apartments were occupied, and residents have been relocated.
The Billings Police Department has joined the investigation into the cause of the fire. Police Lt. Kevin Iffland said Thursday that the work on case is continuing.
