Billings police officers arrested three men late Thursday after a burglary at North Side Pawn, at 2209 First Ave. N.

Officer Steve Hallam responded to an alarm at the business at about 11:26 p.m. and saw a large hole in the front-door window, Sgt. Matt Brewer said. The officer found three men walking from the west side of the business and ordered them to halt.

One man complied, but the other two fled. Hallam chased the men and caught one a short distance from the store. Responding police officers caught the other man a short time later.

Two of the suspects, Michael Adams and Takeem Lumpkin, both 19, were booked into the Yellowstone County jail on suspicion of burglary, criminal mischief and obstructing a police officer. The third suspect was a juvenile and was placed at the Youth Services Center on suspicion of burglary, criminal mischief and theft.
