Bicycle, car collide, injuring woman

A woman is in intensive care after the bicycle she was riding collided Saturday morning with a car on the West End.

Billings Police Sgt. Pat Curry said that at about 10 a.m., a 21-year-old man was driving a Honda passenger car southbound on Rehberg Lane.

The woman, 74, was riding a bicycle eastbound on Colton Boulevard when she rode into the intersection with Rehberg and her bike and the Honda collided. Curry said the car had a green light at the intersection.

The woman, whose name has not been released, was taken to St. Vincent Healthcare with non-life-threatening injuries and checked into the intensive care unit.

No traffic citations were issued, Curry said.
