The Montana Highway Patrol commissioned four new troopers on Friday during its 63rd graduation ceremony.
Two of the new troopers, Calvin Jimmerson and Toni Snelling, hail from Billings. They will be stationed there when they begin duty.
A third trooper, Branden Timm, is from Big Timber and will be stationed at Columbus. Timm received an academic award and a camp commander award at Friday's ceremony. Timm will be stationed out of Columbus.
A fourth graduate, Perry Woodland, is from Cascade and will work out of Culbertson.
Montana Attorney General Tim Fox addressed the ceremony.
"Public service is a time-honored profession," he said, according to a Montana Department of Justice press release. "Your reward is only as meaningful as the effort, energy, and heart you invest into your work.”
