Temperatures today are expected to peak at 49 degrees in Billings, according to the National Weather Service, with sunny or mostly sunny skies persisting until Thursday night.
Tuesday's high temperature is expected to reach 55 degrees, with highs in the upper 40s to mid 50s through Friday.

Due to the warm and potentially windy weather over the next few days, NWS announced Monday it would return to providing daily fire weather forecasts "until more seasonal conditions return toward the end of the week."
Southeast Montana is likely to see powerful wind gusts as high as 50 mph today, according to NWS. The frequently windy corridor from Livingston to Big Timber, and north to Harlowton, could see wind gusts in excess of 50 mph throughout Tuesday.
