Billings police ask for help finding missing man

The Billings Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing Billings man.

Byron "Erik" Barber, 27, was last seen Monday. His cellphone has been inactive and he hasn't shown up for work, according to a BPD social media post.

He drives a 2012 Volkswagen Golf, with personalized Montana license plates saying IHDATRK.

Barber works multiple jobs and works seven days a week, said BPD Sgt. Shane Winden. "It's just unlike him," Winden said. "We're just trying to do our due diligence and get the information out there in case someone sees him or his car."

Police are asking the public to call 406-657-8200 if they have seen Barber or his car. The public can reference case number 19-35005.
