Police look for man photographed at Home Depot who may be a witness to graffiti

Police are seeking to identify this man, seen in a Home Depot surveillance photo. Officers investigating a string of graffiti last week in Billings believe this man may be a witness with information about the crimes.

In an ongoing effort to determine who vandalized homes, vehicles and school property with spray-painted graffiti last week, the Billings Police Department published a photo Wednesday of a witness they believe might have more information.

The photo of the witness was taken from video surveillance at a Home Depot located at 2784 King Ave. W.

Investigators believe the man in the photo may have information regarding the graffiti incidents.

The graffiti, which included swastikas, profanity and male genitalia, may have been spray painted between 9 p.m. on Jan. 23 and 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 24, according to the release.

Graffiti was reported at Lewis and Clark Middle School, the 10th block of Burlington Avenue and the 400 block of Grand Avenue at Billings Senior High School.

Anyone who can identify the photographed witness is asked to call or text School Resource Officer George Zorzakis at 406-670-2757.
