Billings Public Schools program offers free summer lunches to kids

Children ages 18 and younger can eat lunch at no cost Monday through Friday, through the summer lunch program sponsored by Billings Public Schools. Adults may also purchase a lunch for $3.95. Lunch is available daily at the times indicated below. All sites are closed on July 4.

  • Lockwood School, serving lunch from noon-1 p.m., June 4-Aug. 10, will also serve breakfast from 8-9 a.m.
  • The Boys and Girls Club at 505 Orchard Lane will serve lunch from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., June 4-Aug. 17.
  • Orchard Elementary, serving lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., June 13-Aug. 10, will also serve breakfast from 8:30 to 9 a.m.

Other sites offering lunch from noon to 1 p.m., June 13-Aug. 10, are:

  • McKinley Elementary School at 820 N. 31st St.
  • Big Sky Elementary School at 3231 Granger Ave. E., on the playground
  • Pioneer Park, on Third Avenue
  • Central Park at Central Avenue and Sixth Avenue North
  • Highland Park at Second Avenue South and 37th Street
  • Gorham Park, on Hewitt Drive
  • Castle Rock Park at Wicks Lane and Nutter Boulevard
