Although most of the event's organizers were pleasantly surprised by the full-house, a local librarian said reading remains popular, despite the influence of new technology.
"Parents do see the value and importance of literacy," said Cindy Patterson youth services librarian at Parmly Billings Library. "They want to do the right thing for their kids."/td>
