Try 1 month for $5

A would-be robber was confronted by customers and left empty-handed after trying to hold up the Cadillac Jax Casino, 1744 Grand Ave., at knifepoint early Thursday.

A 6-foot tall white male in his mid-20s brandished a knife and demanded money just after 1 a.m., according to Billings Police Department Sgt. Neil Lawrence.

The man left on foot after being confronted by customers, and officers were unable to locate him, Lawrence said. At the time of the robbery, the man was wearing wearing jeans, a white tank top and a ski mask.

The case is still under investigation by the Billings Police Department.
