Bighorn County and the National Park Service search along the rocky cliffs at mile seven on the Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area following a fatal Bighorn Reservoir boat crash

Another body has been recovered from Bighorn Lake after a boating accident Saturday, and crews are still searching for a fourth person related to the accident.

The body of Nathan Kelley, 36, of Billings, has been recovered and the recovery efforts continue for the last victim, the Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area said in a news release.

On Wednesday, Potable Divers used an underwater remote operated vehicle to locate the sunken boat and Kelley’s body. His body was turned over to Big Horn County Coroner Terry Bullis.

The weekend boating accident killed Tammy Scoville, 59. Her body was recovered from the water Sunday.

A 63-year-old man, Robert Ludwick, was injured in the accident.

The accident occurred on the lake near dayboard 7, about 7 miles south of Yellowtail Dam on the Montana side of the national recreation area.

According to the news release, the lake will remain closed through 7 p.m. Thursday between dayboards 6 and 8. Visitors are asked to respect the closure to give search teams the space to work. They’re also asked not to contact those involved in the efforts on the lake.
