Transportation officials want the public’s input on whether to install a roundabout at the intersection of Rimrock Road and 62nd Street West.
Proposed work, according to a news release from the Montana Department of Transportation, includes both the investigation and evaluation of whether a roundabout is needed at the intersection. The evaluation will entail field reconnaissance including completing survey work, assessing environmental resources and existing utilities, and performing soil studies.
MDT representatives will contact all potentially affected landowners before undertaking reconnaissance work on their land.
Comments on the proposal may be sent to the MDT Billings Office, P.O. Box 20437, Billings, MT 59104-0437. Or email comments via this website: www.mdt.mt.gov/mdt/comment_form.shtml. Specify project UPN 9383000.
