The Outreach office at the Montana State University Billings College of Professional Studies and Lifelong Learning will offer a First Aid for Pets class on Saturday.

The course will be 8 a.m.-noon, at the MSU-B College of Technology, 3803 Central Avenue, Room B02.

Dr. Amy Lamm, a veterinarian with Vet-To-Go, will provide instruction on emergency care for dogs and cats, including how to recognize an emergency, how to approach a sick or injured animal, how to treat common medical problems, how to perform CPR and first aid, and how to prepare an animal first-aid kit. Although first aid is not a substitute for veterinary treatment, if you are not able to get to a veterinarian right away, knowing first aid could save your pet's life.

The class costs $29. For information or registration, call 896-5890.
