Four Billings City Council members and the municipal judge will be sworn in during a special council meeting Tuesday night.
The special meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. and will precede the council’s regular work session, which is dedicated mostly to discussion, with no official action taken.
Oaths of office will be administered to Becky Bird of Ward 3 and Ken Crouch of Ward 5, newly elected to the council in November, and to Denis Pitman of Ward 2 and Jani McCall of Ward 4, who won re-election in November.
Brent Cromley, elected to his first term on the council in Ward 1, will be unable to attend the meeting Tuesday and will be sworn in at a later date.
Municipal Judge Sheila Kolar will also be sworn in. She was appointed to the seat last January and was unopposed in the November election.
