A Billings man has been charged with drunken driving, after crashing his car into another vehicle Monday morning in the Billings Heights.

The call came in at 12:30 a.m., said Billings Police Department, Sergeant Matt Brewer.

Alexander Konecny, 28, was cited for DUI as well as possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia, according to BPD Lt. Kevin Iffland.

The Buick Century he was driving collided with a Mitsubishi Eclipse, driven by a 20-year-old man, Iffland said. Two male passengers also were in the vehicle.

Konecny, the only injured person in the wreck, was transported by ambulance to St. Vincent Healthcare with serious back and head injuries.
