JTL Group Inc.-Billings will begin construction on Highway 312 on Monday.

The project will start about 2.3 miles northeast of Billings and continue to the Yellowstone River Bridge east of Shepherd. The project includes removing the existing asphalt surface, replacing the surface with new asphalt and performing bridge-deck repairs.

Asphalt removal will begin at about 7 a.m. Monday near mile marker 2 and extend east to the Yellowstone River Bridge. Expect five- to 15-minute delays near the immediate work area.

Concrete bridge rail work is continuing on the Yellowstone River Bridge. Single-lane traffic is being allowed to cross the bridge. Expect about five-minute delays crossing the Yellowstone River Bridge.
